Lilian Stolk examines how language shapes our lives. Language encodes objects which no longer requires an active and close observation. With a Master in Media and Journalism (Erasmus University, Rotterdam) and the Image and Language (Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam) as background, Lilian wants to offer a different and more accurate look at objects from the everyday environment. Her projects are inquisitively and -because they involve current issues- accessible. The result is a publication, installation, event and website.

Current projects:
Tears of Joy, an emoji research.
The Hmm, a real-life Tumblr in Amsterdam.
